Your Consultation
Clients will need to answer questions about their medical history during the JUVÉDERM ® XC consultation. Current medications and supplements, past treatments, and allergies will all be discussed. The skin of the treatment area will also be carefully examined.
The JUVÉDERM ® XC treatment process will then be explained so as to make sure that the client is prepared. Asking questions and bringing up concerns is highly encouraged.
After the JUVÉDERM ® XC Treatment
Although there are no lengthy recovery periods involved with JUVÉDERM ® XC treatments, clients will still need to keep a few things in mind. Some minor discomfort and swelling can be expected but will fade in time. Avoiding direct sun exposure for long periods of time is advised for at least two weeks.
