Tax Refunds for Plastic Surgery?
April 15th (or April 18th this year) has come and gone, and hopefully any tax-related stress is behind you. Did you get a refund (or have you already received it)? If so, lucky you. Now the big question is, “what are you going to do with it?”.
A recent article from Forbes magazine, discusses what average Americans will be using their refunds for – savings accounts, debt reduction and, yes, even plastic surgery.
The average refund comes in at just under $3000.00, so major cosmetic surgeries won’t be fully paid for (our breast augmentation surgery costs $5600.00), but the extra cash can certainly help. And if surgery isn’t what you had in mind, there are always non-invasive treatments like Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, Kybella and chemical peels.
Many of our patients see spring as a good time to do something for themselves. The weather begins to warm, the layers of clothing start to come off, and swimsuit season is just around the corner. So if you’ve been wondering about plastic surgery, and if you’re getting a little bit of cash back from Uncle Sam, it’s a perfect time to schedule that consultation.
